I got SUCKED in

So I know that all the craze right now is Vampires and I did not want anything to do with it. I work at Arizona's Bridal and Formal and all my co-workers are obsessed with the show the "Vampire Diaries." I would hear them everyday talking about how Stefan is so attractive and team Damon and blah blah and then I got sucked in... I had to know what all the talk was about sooooo that leads me to my vampire obsession lately! Sounds lame, but i love this show and am defiantly a Damon fan! You may be thinking that this show is something along the lines of Twilight but no it is very different and 10000 times better acting. All my co-workers are on the third season along with the rest of the world but because I started late I am just in the middle of the second season. As soon as I started I couldn't stop, each episode is so addicting. If you plan on jumping on the bandwagon like me and watching Vampire Diaries I suggest you don't plan to be social for the next little while. I literally sat in my room this past weekend, as soon as I was done with the day of work or school I got in my pjs and headed to my room to watch Vampire Diaries. I am almost all caught up so I can go back to being social but for now I am attached to my lap top.

Year of Optimism

As a new year begins it's always a good time to look at the past and reflect on how much you grew and the experiences you had, then look at the future and make goals for what you want to accomplish. In the year 2011 I had many memorable times.

• I made long lasting friendships
• I went to Virginia to visit my sister and fell in LOVE with Virginia
• I went to Utah multiple times for conference and a sister trip
• I went to Mexico for our annual Spring Break trip
• I said goodbye to one of my best friends who is now serving a mission in France.
• I went to Cali, obviously.
• I went to my friend's weddings...weird. I shouldn't be old enough for that.
• I was inducted into Sigma Chi Eta Honors sorority
• I passed all my classes
• I turned 20
• I got a new job being a bridal consultant at Arizona's Bridal and Formal
• I re-learned piano
• I started taking dance again
• I got an I-Phone

Now that it is 2012 I have many new goals I hope to accomplish and many new roads I hope to travel.

• I want to be more open to anything that may come my way
• I want to be more OPTIMISTIC
• I want to pass my classes that I am taking this semester
• I hope to study abroad
• I want to sell as many wedding dresses as I possibly can
• I want to be more patient
• I want to sit back and let the world around me slow down for a little
• I want to read the Book of Mormon again
• I want to get the pump for my Diabetes
• I want to do a half ironman triathlon
• I want to have a perfect A1C (diabetes talk)
• I want to help someone everyday with their needs
• I want to make 2012 the best year yet!
• (which will be a hard thing considering I have had some pretty amazing years in my life)

What new roads will you travel?? Just think of the new experiences 2012 will bring! It is exciting to think and hope for the future! Have you made your new goals yet? I encourage you to write them down and act upon them. A goal not written is only a wish.
